Sad, after Casino royale I was hoping this would be just as good if not somehow better. I do think Craig is a good bond and worthy a shame they have let the fans down with a "filler" movie.

I love the old classic bond movies, and I did like casino royale lots too. I hope they can recoup on the next one.

Hmm, sounds like it could be like Licence to Kill, which for me is the second worse Bond film. (only beaten by the god-awful A View To A Kill, which Moore should never have done.) So I'm not full of hope. The Bond series are to me what the Indiana Jones films are to you, so I will be seeing this but I am not full of expectation with the ridiculous levels of hype being generated.

Casino Royale was different, people weren't expecting it to be as good as it was so it was pleasant surprise. This however seems to be the opposite.

I do like Craigs portrayal as Bond however. I like the grittiness, what a lot of people seem to forget that the way Craig plays him is like in the books. A lot of people liked Moores almost light hearted approach, something which I have always considered to be far removed. The same can be said for Brosnans slick style. (To be fair though, Goldeneye has to be one of the best Bond films and the best recent one, not including Casino Royale) Of course I don't think Daniel Craig will ever better Connery, purely for "From Russia With Love". While I loved all the 60's bond films, I just loved the feel of the second film, they got it right in my opinion. The train scenes were so beautifully done, you felt that Bond was truly vulnerable and you never knew which twist the plot would take. (And of course the fight scene! Its still brutal to his day!) I think Bond films have become somewhat predictable since.
